The members of Megadeth were recently invited to hang out trackside prior to the Indianapolis 500, one of the biggest auto racing events in America. Naturally, they said yes, and you can see video shot by Dave Ellefson above...with cameo appearances by Dave Mustaine and Shawn Drover.
Megadeth tour dates continue throughout the month; find a show near you!
The band is supporting its latest album, TH1RT3EN, which is available now in the Roadrunner webstore!
Gojira drummer Mario Duplantier was interviewed recently by ArtScenics.tv, and you can watch the 15-minute conversation above. While it was conducted entirely in French, there are excellent subtitles. Mario discusses the process of making the band's new album, L'Enfant Sauvage, in New York, as well as the bond he and brother Joe feel with the United States (did you know their mom is American?); he also talks about the album's lyrical themes, how his brother has changed as a singer and how the music makes room for that, and much more. It's a fascinating conversation, well worth watching in its entirety.
L'Enfant Sauvage will be released June 26, but you can pre-order it now in the Gojira webstore!

Remember Nailbomb? The "group" was a side project of Max Cavalera's that briefly exploded (pun intended) in 1994-95, a collaboration with Fudge Tunnel mainman Alex Newport and a few other friends here and there, including members of Fear Factory, Sepultura, Biohazard and Dead Kennedys. They made one studio album, the crushing industrial-grind monster Point Blank, and played exactly two live shows, the latter of which, at Holland's Dynamo Festival, marked the end of the project...and which can be seen in its entirety above. Enjoy!
